This week the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles announced the successful booking of its 2 millionth online appointment since updating the scheduling platform in 2024. This significant milestone highlights the agency's commitment to leveraging technology to enhance residents' experience and improving efficiency at OMV customer service centers.
“Booking an appointment eliminates wait times and allows our customers to visit when it best fits their schedule,” stated OMV Commissioner Keith E. Neal. “We’ll continue to improve this system to meet the needs of our residents.”
All 79 OMV customer service centers and select Public Tag Agents (PTAs) offer appointments through Envoc’s Qtopia online appointment system. Residents can schedule by selecting the “Book Appointment” icon at www.expresslane.la.gov. Customers will then be prompted to enter the required information to finalize their appointment. Appointment options vary by location.
Customers with appointments scheduled will be assisted at their reserved time. Walk-in guests are accepted as time permits but may experience wait times.
