Hello again everyone. I apologize for not having a column last week. My wife and I took a small vacation trip. We went to Kentucky to the Ark Encounter. Let me tell you, it's just as hot in Kentucky, Tenn, and Georgia, as it is in Louisiana, and Mississippi. We had a wonderful trip. The Ark is something to see if you have never been to see it. The Good Lord watched over us to travel almost 2,000 miles round trip.
I'm sure skipping a week in writing; I will miss several birthdays, anniversaries, or other announcements. However, if you will send me and information I missed, I would be glad to include it in next week's column.
So, school starts tomorrow for most of the parish. Ya'll please be careful when you travel through the school zones. Please, please, please, put your phone down and pay attention. The student's safety is far more important than what's on your phone. Watch out for the students and buses.
Please remember the Lenora Knight family as they mourn the passing of their loved one.
