Hello again everyone. We are half way through August. Schools are in full swing. Temperatures are still HOT!! And at the writing of this there is major category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean. My home church, Lawence Creek Baptist Chruch, is in the middle of revival this week. Thursday night at 7:00 pm and then Friday at 6:30 pm. Bro. Trey Jenkins is the visiting minister.

The Thomas Community wide yard sales is set for Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 7:00am to 12:00pm. There are several families participating in these sales.
Acy's Creek Baptist Church is participating in the community yard sales at the church. They will also have sausage biscuits and jambalaya available. This is part of a fund raising to help the church youth go to Kentucky next year to see the "Ark Encounter". The church is also selling chicken dinners that will be available on Sept. 26th as part of this fund raising. I'll have more information on that next week.
