Well hello again there everyone. I hope you all had a great week. The temperatures did dip down a little bit last week. We got to build our first fire in our wood burning fireplace. It's always a good day sitting and watching the fire with a cup of good ole dark roast coffee. Only a couple more days and schools will be out for the Thanksgiving break.
Congratulations to the Franklinton Demons football for their WIN against the Rayne Wolves last Friday night in the first round of the playoffs. If I have my information correct, ( and I sure hope I do) The Demons will host the Jennings Bulldogs in the next round. At the time of me writing this the time was to be determined.
The Pine Raiders took a loss on their first round in the playoffs, but what an outstanding year they had. .... Go Raiders...!!!

The Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church Youth had their annual Thanksgiving community meal program last Saturday, Nov. 15th. They had about 230 lunches to give to those in the community. Hats off to you young people. Keep up the good work.
