Hello again everyone. First thing right off bat, is I need to apologize to Bible Baptist Church of the Thomas community and also to Acy's Creek Missionary Baptist on Hwy. 436. I totally forgot to put these churches' revival meetings in last week's column. However, depending on when you get your Era-Leader paper, you can still make the last half of the revival meetings.
•Bible Baptist will continue through the week with a different preacher each night .
Wed. Night will be Bro. Matt Sheilds, a missionary to Aruba.
Thurs. Night will be Bro. Mark Hobgood
Friday night will be Bro. Trey Jenkins.
These services will be at 7:00 pm each night .
•Acy's Creek Baptist will continue each night this week at 6:30 pm and Bro. Joe Lott is the visiting minister. Both churches along with their pastors invitesyou to attend. Once again, my apologizes, for forgetting to put their news in the paper.
At the time I'm writing this, ( Sun. Afternoon ) the weather people are predicting some strong thunder storms and maybe tornados.
Last Wednesday night we had some of the same weather. There were several trees down across the parish. So, ya'll stay alert and stay safe.
They are also predicting some low 30's for morning temps. You might want to cover them 'damator plants.
