Hello again everyone. I hope you all had a good week and a safe Memorial Day this Monday. The day is set aside to remember all those who gave their lives so that we might enjoy the freedom we have today. A few years ago, I wrote in this column for all to have a "Happy Memorial Day" but later I was corrected and was told that it's not appropriate to say Happy Memorial Day because it's not a happy day. I appreciate the one who corrected me on that.

Stateline Missionary Baptist Church will have VBS May 25th - May 29th from 9:00AM to 12 noon each day. There will be a program on Sunda Night, May 31st. Kids from three years and up along with adults are invited. You can visit their Facebook page to fill out a form for EACH CHILD.
