Hello again everyone. I hope this finds you all doing well. I hope you have had a great week. We thanking the good Lord above for the wonderful rain that he sent last week. We are no longer under the "burn ban" , but please be careful if you intend on burning leaves, trash, etc.
At the time of me writing this, the weather folks are looking at some disturbed weather in the gulf and the tropics. God has been good to us, so far this hurricane season.
Most everyone I have talked to has something to say about the passing of Dolly Parton, whether it be positive or negative. She was very well known for being a Country music singer and writer. Also, she was known for her up bringing in the Servierville, TN area. Including her owning "Dollywood" and the "Stampede" dinner show.

Condolences to the Willie Mae McElveen Family. Sis. Willie Mae was a longtime faithful member at my home church, Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church. I had the privilege to be her pastor for 9 and one half years. I counted her a dear friend and she will be missed greatly.
The Thomas Community Yard Sales will be held Saturday, Sept. 12th, 2026 from 7:00AM to 12:00PM. There are too many to list here, but if you will just begin on Lawrence Creek Road and follow the signs. Also, the good folks from the community can direct you to house to house.
