Hello again everyone. February done 'bout come and gone. I had to burn up some more firewood this past week when we had mid 20's and not out of the 40's. I'm sure some of my farmer friends have already got their 'taters planted. Me? I'm always late.

Please remember the following families at they mourn the loss of their loved ones: ....... The Susanet Passman Family, and The Arlie O'Bryant Family. Mr. Arlie lived to be 104 years old, and was a great blessing to the Thomas community and will be greatly missed.
If you are one that does Mardi Gras and attends the parades, please be safe this weekend. On Saturday there will be one in Bogalusa, and then on Sunday there will be one in Franklinton.
Congratulations to the Pine High Lady Raiders Basketball Team. They have made it to the state playoffs. At the time of this writing they are scheduled to play Church Point on Monday, Feb. 24 at 6:00PM at Pine High School. Go Lady Raiders!!!!
The Pine FFA students placed in a variety of competitions at the district level. They place 3rd & 4th in small engines, 1st & 3rd in electricity. These and others will move on the area competitions in Gonzales.
Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church at 28608 James Creel Road, Franklinton, will have revival March 3rd - 6th at 7:00 pm each night. Then on Friday night the 7th the service will begin at 6:30 pm to allow for extra singing. Eld. Darren Uzel will be the visiting minister. The church and Pastor, Eld. Duane Ball invite you to attend.
