Pine will be at Springfield this Friday for an 8-3A district game following the Raiders’ blowout 65-16 win over Bogalusa last Thursday night.
The Bogalusa game was never in question after Pine took an early lead and head coach Bradley Seal was able to give all of his team playing time.
Pine will be looking for another strong showing this week against Springfield, which is 2-7 on the season and 0-4 in District 8-3A.
Pine’s big win over Bogalusa pushed the Raiders to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the district.
After the Bogalusa game, Coach Seal commented, “"I was happy for our team to get a win. I thought we played well in all three phases of the game. Give credit to Bogalusa. They have a lot of injuries but they are still showing up working."
