Hello everyone. Well, it's officially Thanksgiving week 2021. This year is almost history. Do you have big plans for Thursday? Being with family? Planning a big meal? Something different? Whatever you plan please make sure you take time out to give thanks; this time of year. Remember, it's not “Turkey Day” but it's “Thanksgiving Day” --- A time to reflect on all our blessings.
Also, if you plan on Black Friday shopping, please be watchful of your surroundings and have a safe shopping experience.
As a substitute teacher in the Washington Parish school system, I for one can say I'm ready for a week off. I probably can speak for most of the other teachers as well. Have a good week off.
Congratulations to the Pine Jr. High Football team on earning the title of Parish Champs for 3 years in a row.
Happy Birthday to the following: Brody Estave, Celeste Crowe, Kim Stogner, Victoria Luper, and Stacy Wilkes.
Happy Anniversary to Andy & Ashely Nobles.
Please remember the Carey Bateman family and the Marie Vince family as they mourn the passing of their loved ones. Let us also remember all the families that will be missing their family members this Thanksgiving year. May God bless and comfort you all.
Last week’s question: . . . To whom did Jesus say, “Wilt thou be made whole''? Jesus made this statemen to a crippled man who was laid by Bethesda's pool for 38 years. Found in John Chapter 5 verse 6. Thanks to all who sent in answers.
This weeks question: . . . Where in the Bible (KJV) will you first find the word “thanksgiving”?
