Game of the Week - McComb (0-0) at Tylertown (0-0) Tylertown has a new coach although he has been on the staff for several years. McComb has a veteran leader in Poochie Foster who has been there and done that and has the Tigers rolling over the last several years.
Both teams return a large portion of their offensive production from last season, particularly McComb so it very well may come down to which defense can get the job done.
These teams are big rivals and the communities will come out to support them.
Should be a good one!

We made two travels to that place due to cancellation because of weather but our guys never backed down and went to war at them. "Our scrimmage from last night versus Ellender was a successful event. No one was injured and our defensive performance was dominant. We only ran 55 plays as the scrimmage was called early due to lightning. All in all, we have some good film to watch and improve upon as we get ready for our jamboree versus Amite."

"I though our kids competed hard and got a lot of valuable work out of the scrimmage. We saw some good things on both sides of the ball, but we also saw some areas that we need to clean up before the season starts. That's exactly what a scrimmage is for. Overall, I was pleased with the effort, I would've liked us to be a little more physical but we'll use the film to continue to improve. We didn't take score but we scored on some explosive plays throughout the scrimmage. We were able to find the endzone three times and gave up one touchdown. We were able to move the ball at times and make some plays defensively, but there are still plenty of things we need to improve on."
