Raeshell Leann Seal, 32, a resident of Franklinton passed away Friday morning January 2, 2026 at the Touro Hospital in New Orleans following a lengthy illness. She was a Class of 2013 graduate of Franklinton High School where she served four years with the Marine Corps-Junior ROTC program. She enjoyed horseback riding and taking care of other animals. Raeshell was a loving young lady who never met a stranger and always wanted to help everyone. She gave from her heart—loved everyone—her heart was so forgiving. It did not matter what anyone did or said, she was would always say “It’s Okay”. Raeshell had the most loving and forgiving heart, an old soul. She loved life, even with her diabetes, she did the best she could, but she was tired of battling her disease.

She was preceded in death by her children Raesa Rayne and Aubrey Renee, grandparents Toxie and Lena Forbes, Johnnie and Treasolo Seal, uncles Tony Forbes, Willie Forbes, Don Forbes, great-grandparents Steven “Bluff” and Serena Seal, Earlie and Lena Ballard, brother in law Ryan Miley, cousins Mitchell Dickerson, Sherry Dickerson, Josh Seal.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday January 4th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Monday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Monday with Rev. Ronnie Chaisson and Rev. Walter Mixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Crystal Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
