Clifton Baptist Church is excited to announce its upcoming revival beginning Sunday, September 7 and continuing through Wednesday, September 10.
On Sunday, service begins at 10:30 AM followed by a Fellowship Meal for everyone. A Youth Revival Night will be held at 6 PM Sunday evening. The revival will continue from Monday through Wednesday beginning at 6 PM each evening. A Fellowship Meal will be held at 5 PM Wednesday. During each service, there will also be Children's Church as well as a nursery worker to care for the younger attendees.
Dr. Preston Nix will serve as the Revival Pastor. Dr. Nix, a Professor of Evangelism and Evangelistic Preaching, is the Director of The Leaveille Center of Evangelism and Church Health located on campus of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In his 49 years of ministry experience, Dr. Nix has served as Interim Pastor 15 times at 13 different churches. His wife, Diane, ministers to women across North America, particularly pastors' wives, through ContagiousJoy4Him, a ministry she founded.
Dr. Gregory Woodward will be the Revival Worship Leader. Dr. Woodward is a Professor of Conducting and Worship. He currently serves as Pastor of Faith New Orleans Church and has served many churches in Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana. His wife, Michelle, is the ministry director for Children and Families at Faith New Orleans. They have six children that serve in the ministry with them.
