This outstanding achievement demonstrates that our laboratory not only meets, but consistently upholds the highest standards in diagnostic accuracy, specimen handling, documentation, staff competency, and quality assurance processes. Receiving zero findings during a survey is a significant accomplishment and affirms our dedication to providing reliable, timely, and safe laboratory services to our patients and community.
We are incredibly proud of our laboratory team and supporting departments for their teamwork and dedication to patient-centered service while maintaining the highest standards. Our laboratory team is led by Jeffrey Vince, BS, MLS (ASCP) Laboratory Director and Liz Dunaway, BS, MLS (ASCP) Assistant Laboratory Director. Our Cardiopulmonary Department played a vital role in the laboratory re-accreditation and is led by Crystal Lyons, RRT, Director of Clinical Operations and Dewayne Provost, RRT, Cardiopulmonary Supervisor. Additional members of our team that were instrumental in our survey success were Taryn Marchese, BSN, RN, CNO, Kandi James, RN, Critical Care Director, and Brittany Dillon, BSN, RN, Director of Infection Control & Prevention. Each and every member of our laboratory, cardiopulmonary, and nursing staff were actively involved and are the true stars of our success.
