The Shasta Club met for its May meeting and installation dinner at Cafe Bouchee with Hallene Magee, Katie Bulloch and Debbie Burris sharing hosting responsibilities.
The tables were beautifully decorated with vases of fresh flowers and vintage linens. Following the business meeting, Valarie Comeaux, outgoing president gave a summary of the year's activities and received a thank you gift from the club, which was presented by outgoing vice-president, Cole Bird.
The meeting was turned over to the installing officer, Jennifer Haik, who informed the new officers of their duties by comparing them to various kinds of teas and presenting each with a cup and saucer filled with those tea bags, giving an interesting description of each kind. The members pledged their cooperation with the officers in the ensuing year.
