Mr. and Mrs. Stephen McElveen are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Kennedy Noelle McElveen, to Mr. Alexander Kennedy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Kennedy.
Miss McElveen is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin McDaniel, of Stoney Point, and Mrs. Kathy McElveen and the late Ted McElveen, also of Stoney Point. Kennedy is a resident of Stoney Point, a 2021 graduate of Franklinton High School, and is currently a dental assistant at Cornerstone Dentistry in Covington.
Mr. Kennedy is the grandson of Mrs. Wathenia McCauley & the late Henry McCauley of Wickes, Arkansas and Mr. Charles Kennedy and the late Victoria Kennedy of Mena, Arkansas.
Alex is a resident of Franklinton, a 2020 graduate of Franklinton High School, and is employed by Olivier International, based in Houma, LA.
An engagement party to celebrate the pending nuptials was recently held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Singleton hosted by the Singletons and Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Knight.
The couple are planning a May wedding at First Baptist Church in Franklinton.
