Winterset Club met at Varnado Store Museum

The Winterset Club held its monthly meeting on April 15 at the Varnado Store Museum Annex. Members toured the Student Art Exhibit in the museum. A business meeting was conducted by club president, Charlotte Bateman and plans were made for next year.

Waverley Club held its April meeting at the Rock House

The Waverley Club held its April meeting on Thursday, April 4 at the Rock House. Hostesses were Anita Reviere, Jane Burris, and Roseanne Ganley (shown in photo above.).
Using the theme "April Flowers" the historic Rock House was decorated with bouquets of spring flowers featuring miniature roses in various colors.

Marie Wascom, left in above photo and Judy Bullock, right, served as hostesses for the Winterset Club meeting on March 18. It was held at Franktown Nutrition in downtown Franklinton. Matt Temples discussed the nutritional value of their special teas and gave everyone a sample. Hannah Temples demonstrated how to make rolled ice cream sundaes.

Interim superintendent discusses tax renewal election at Winbury Club meeting
