FHS Demons knock off #6 Amite

The Franklinton Demons kicked off their 2024 season in great fashion as they defeated the #6 ranked Amite Warriors 19-12. The game was a thriller all the way as the Demons scored twice in the fourth period to tie, then take the lead with under a minute left to play.

Bowling Green Bucs shrug off rain, pick up big 50-6 win

In a relentless downpour, the Bowling Green Buccaneers secured their first win of the season with a commanding 50-6 victory over the CHEF Patriots in their homecoming game. The Bucs dominated 48 minutes of play, bringing their record to 1-3 and delivering a much-needed boost in front of their home crowd at Buck Hellen Stadium.

Pine defeats St. Thomas Aquinas, 47-0

The Pine Raiders football team traveled to Hammond to play the St Thomas Aquinas Falcons in a non district season opener. The Raiders completely had their way with the Falcons and came away with a 47-0 victory. The victory puts the Raiders at 1-0 on the young season.
