Prior to the Franklinton High School Demon Baseball win over Loranger, State Representative John Wyble tossed in the ceremonial first pitch. John is a proud resident of Franklinton and avid fan of the FHS Demons. His wife, Misty Graves Wyble, and three children attended school at Franklinton High.
Before being elected to the Louisiana Legislature, Rep. Wyble served on the Washington Parish School Board for 13 years, five of those years as President. He is a true advocate for education and students as he also serves as CEO for The Center for Literacy & Learning, a Louisiana based national organization improving literacy for all grades across the U.S.
Rep Wyble is most proud of his grandchildren. "Poppy and Mimi" can't get enough of 3-year old Gianna, 2-year old Giselle, and 8-month old Garrett Leon. They are also excited to announce that grand baby #4 is due to arrive in November. Rep. Wyble and wife Misty always wish the Demons a fantastic season.
Catching the pitch was his great friend, Coach Dustin Khale.
