Pelicans' undrafted rookie Alvarado inks multiyear contract

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The Pelicans converted undrafted rookie guard Jose Alvarado's two-way contract to a guaranteed multiyear deal on Monday.

The change makes Alvarado eligible for postseason play, should the Pelicans qualify.
