Tammie Hunt Douglas, 61, a resident of Franklinton passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon December 7, 2025 at her home following a courageous two year battle with cancer. She owned and operated a dance supply store in Mandeville, Dance & Things, for several years and also sold jewelry and houseware goods for a time. Tammie enjoyed clothes shopping and visiting other stores looking for the perfect items. She liked reading mystery novels and always loved spending quality time with her family, beloved grandchildren and friends.

Son and Daughter in law: Steven and Bunnie Douglas
Daughter and Son in law: Amber Cooper and Barry Cooper, Jr.
2 Granddaughters: Isabella Cooper, Aubrey Cooper
Sister and Brother in law: Linda Hunt Talbot and John Talbot
Brothers: Steven Andy Hunt, Daniel Dale Hunt
Also survived by several nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends
She was preceded in death by her parents T.C. Hunt and Shirley Creel Hunt, grandparents Willie D. Creel and Elizabeth Lewis Creel, Horace Hunt and Addie Hunt Graves.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday December 10th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Wednesday with Rev. Charles Ray Creel officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hermon Cemetery.
