Coroner asks parish council to withdraw millage proposal

Mt. Hermon School Principal Stacy Bond had some outstanding staff and students to recognize at the August School Board Meeting. Brandie Kerbow, BSN, RN earned her EMR Instructor certification and is a nationally registered EMR. She is also a BLS/CPR Instructor. Jessica Spears was a Premier Performer at the National Beta Club Convention and recently performed the National Anthem at the district's Bus Operator professional development and at the teacher's professional development featuring speaker Derek Clark. Weston Fortenberry was entered in the Drawing Competition for Beta Club in the black/white charcoal division. He placed first at the state level and 3rd place at the National Convention. Meggan Fountain was recognized for receiving a Perfect Score (850) on the ELA LEAP test. Syria Crain, Markiah Daniels, Isabella Cooper, Allie Hughes and Madison McGee participated in the Book Battle for Beta Club. They placed 4th at the State Convention and 7th at the National Convention.
