This standard time that we’re on now has not had any affect on me. In the past when I was working, I have had to “adjust” when the time “falls back an hour”. After retiring and reflecting on my new point of view (POV), I concluded that my “growing older & wiser” is having a “calming” effect on me.

The Fair has come and gone but that beautiful weather continues. We have begun this beautiful month of November with “Fall Back Time”, as well as a focus on “Thankfulness”. Being thankful is a wonderful way to live life because this way few things can disappoint us.

On Saturday, Oct. 12th it was nice to see a group participating in a Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch and Walk, in Angie LA. This honorable event was held at the Pride and Hope Ministry Ole Hickory Restaurant and began at 8am. Ladies wore “Breast Cancer Awareness” shirts and/or their “Pink” during their walk to raise funds for a cure.
