We finally made it back home and these weary travelers are tired! We had a great time in TN visiting with family and friends and even got to see many bears at our cabin. One was way too close for comfort since he decided to climb up on my aunt’s porch, get up on her porch railing, and climb up to her roof!

The heat has made its way up to Townsend, TN. For folks from Louisiana, it isn’t as hot as at home, but it is extremely warm to me. The humidity was only 33% up here the other day, so that was nothing compared to home.

Greetings from Townsend, TN! I hope you all had a great week. I am hoping that it won’t be too hot up here in TN, but only time will tell. I know it is supposed to be a hot one at home. One of the days was supposed to have a heat index of 114 degrees, which is ridiculous.

I really thought that I would be able to have a relaxing summer, but we have been on the go the entire time so far! I wouldn’t trade it for the world though. Savannah was a great place to visit with a lot of great food, sights, and history for sure! FHS Beta did an outstanding job with group talent, but we did not make Top10.
