Aaron Rodgers nearly upended the NFL schedule two years ago when he told some within the Green Bay Packers organization he didn’t want to return to the team.

For the sake and sanity of those in the league’s scheduling department, cooler heads prevailed.

CBS' Grant believed to be 1st Black director of a title game

Mark Grant was considering retirement two years ago after a long career as a director at CBS and ESPN. Those plans changed though when CBS Sports executives offered him the chance to be the lead director for college basketball and the NCAA Tournament.

Women's March Madness finds foothold on national TV

With hopes of a separate television contract in upcoming negotiations, the women's NCAA Tournament keeps gaining momentum.

The national title game returns to network television for the first time since 1995, with an ABC broadcast on April 2 from Dallas and a one-hour pregame show.
