During a murder trial last Monday at the Washington Parish Courthouse in Franklinton, three men allegedly made verbal threats just outside the courtroom to witnesses in a case.
Deputies were initially notified of a possible situation occurring at the courthouse, right across the street from the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, and quickly responded. Upon arrival at the courthouse, the witnesses told the deputies that three men had said to them, “I’ll do you something,” and “I’ll roll up on you,” as they were leaving the courtroom. Several people, including court officials, reported that they heard the statements come from the three men.
Camryn Hausey, 22, of Baton Rouge, Neolandd Erin Archie, 22, of Baton Rouge, and Chaz Elijah Nobles, 21, of Baton Rouge, were subsequently arrested as they waited outside the courthouse, and each was charged with Intimidation of a Witness.
All three individuals were booked into the Washington Parish Jail.
