Richard and Asontaye Bickham of Franklinton have been named King and Queen for the Krewe of Pepe in 2023.
The lifelong Franklinton residents have three children: Quentin, 16; Amia, 14; and Riya, 7.
The new queen is the owner of a women’s online boutique. The new king is a barber in Covington.
