Volunteers asked to participate on Franklinton's Clean-up day

Franklinton’s annual Clean-Up Day will take place this coming Saturday, April 23.
Franklinton Mayor Greg Route and volunteers from civic organizations are scheduled to meet at the town’s Public Works Maintenance Building to obtain equipment at 8:00 a.m.
Volunteers will meet back at the Maintenance Building at 11 a.m. for lunch.

FHS Demons defeat Pearl River twice

The Franklinton Demons baseball team won two huge district games last week over the Pearl River Rebels. On Wednesday they defeated the Rebels on the road 2-0 with Micah Wascom pitching a one hit shutout while striking out thirteen.
