After winning the national college baseball championship Monday night, LSU and its fans will celebrate Wednesday evening.
The 2023 national championship will be celebrated with fans on Wednesday at Alex Box Stadium on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge..
The celebration will start at 7:30 p.m. and the gates will actually open at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the celebration is free, and all fans are urged to attend to congratulate LSU’s national champions.
The celebration event will include a presentation of the national championship trophy, and Head Baseball Coach Jay Johnson will speak to the crowd, as will certain members of the team.
Food, beverages, and national championship merchandise will be available for purchase. Free parking will be available in the Hall of Fame, Old Front Nine, Gourrier South, Levee South, and Hayfield parking lots at LSU.
Fans can enter the stadium through gates 0 through 3.
If you cannot attend the celebration, relax: It will be streamed live on Facebook Watch, YouTube, and SEC Network+.
Monday, the Tigers won their 7th national college baseball championship. This is the second-most of any team in history, behind only the University of Southern California Trojans.
In addition to the nationalo championship, the 2023 LSU team also boasts te national College Baseball Player of the Year, Dylan Crews.
