The Washington Parish Free Fair Stage Committee is pleased to announce the Friday night headliner on the Main Stage for the upcoming 2023 Fair.
Clifton Brown & The Rusty Bucket Band is NOT your typical new day Country band; they are COUNTRY! They play Nashville's chart-topping Country songs from the 80's, 90's, 00's, from Nashville's biggest artists and their very own originals.
The band and Clifton have earned opportunities to open for some of Nashville's biggest artists of their era, such as Mickey Gilley, John Conlee, Lorrie Morgan, Doug Stone, Jamie O'Neal, Ronnie Milsap and the late great Merle Haggard, just to name a few.
They bring professionalism to a new level and earned the prestigious honor to back some of these same Country stars.
The band is made up of six of South Lousiana's finest musicians consisting of Clifton (lead vocalist/acoustic guitarist), Chris Smith (bassist), Greg Manchester (lead guitarist/vocalist), Danny Harrell (pedal steel guitarist), Paul Golmon (drummer) and Brenda Harrell (female vocalist).
Folks can catch them performing most any weekend, at various venues from rodeos, fairs, festivals, casinos, night clubs and/or private events. Their motto is "Keeping it COUNTY, one song and one event at a time."
Clifton Brown and the Rusty Bucket Band will take the stage at 8:30 pm. on Friday of the Fair.
