On June 27 the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office joined forces with Louisiana State Police, the Bogalusa Police Department, the United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Louisiana Probation and Parole, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Search warrants were executed at seven residences in Bogalusa identified during the course of the investigation.
Authorities recovered over $6,000 in cash, seized seven firearms, $250K worth of luxury cars, and confiscated over 10 ounces of heroin. In addition, law enforcement discovered various quantities of marijuana, crack cocaine, and methamphetamines.
During the operation the following individuals were arrested on narcotics-related charges:
Michael Williams, 62; Donelle Pigott, 58; James Wise, 34; Luther Whitten, 65; Parrish Holloway, 42; Jimell Magee, 27; Brandon Morris, 40; Stephan Pigott, 60; Sheila Taylor, 54; Michael Spikes, 45; Stanley Roberts, 66; Brittany Roberts, 44; Melvin Fields, 66; and William Grande, 62.
This multi-agency investigation continues and additional arrests are anticipated.
