The Washington Parish Garden Club Council recently celebrated 50 years since it was founded in May, 1973. The Parish Council is made up of Franklinton Home and Garden Club, Southeast Garden Clippers, Northeast Garden Club, Designs by Pine, Bogalusa Garden Club, Mt. Hermon Garden Club, and Franklinton Garden Club.
Tuesday, October 17, members took a break from preparing the Flower House for the Washington Parish Free Fair and enjoyed a beautiful cake.
