Representative-elect John Wyble announced district offices have been secured in both Franklinton and Bogalusa, honoring his campaign commitment that all citizens across Washington Parish (La. House District 75) will have access to information and services.
He will be sworn in next week at the state capitol.
“It took quite an effort to make the budget we are given by the state to work, but through negotiations and a willingness of local commercial property owners, I am excited to announce this important goal has been accomplished.”
The Franklinton office is located at 943 Washington Street. The Bogalusa office is located at 748 Avenue F.
“With the help of my legislative assistant, Suzi Bourne, we will establish regular office hours at both locations where someone will be in that particular office.” Representative-elect Wyble and Bourne will each receive their official legislative email addresses next week and will share with the public at that time. For now, anyone can email info@teamwyble.com The official office phone number will be 985-515-1020 and will go live the week of January 8.
Wyble has been transitioning into his new role since November 19, the day after the election. In addition to important delegation meetings and general orientation sessions, he has worked closely with incoming House leadership to establish preferences with regards to committee assignments. He has also been meeting with local business leaders and officials leading toward his swearing in on January 8.
“I want to publicly thank Senator Beth Mizell who has been very helpful and supportive in this process as well as outgoing Representative Malinda White. Both have been a resource of information and guidance. I am ready to serve and, of course, am excited to have such a wonderful Legislative Assistant in Suzi Bourne.”
