Museum will host Memorial Day ceremony

The Varnado Store Museum will be the site of a Memorial Day Ceremony.

Actually, the ceremony will take place this Sunday, the day before Memorial Day. At 2 p.m. the Color Guard of American Legion Post 24 will present a 21-gun salute in honor and in memory of American servicemen who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The program will also include information about Memorial Day.

The ceremony will be held at the side of the museum, which is located at the corner of Pearl and Cleveland Streets, near the courthouse.

Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony..
