The Franklinton Lady Demons easily dispatched 1st Round opponent Westgate Monday evening and advanced to the 2nd round of the LHSAA state softball playoffs.
Wednesday evening, in second round action, the Lady Demons lost to Lakeshore, 4 to 2, bringing their outstanding 2021 season to an end with a 21-9 record. While the second round loss is disappointing to the team, coaches, and fans, it cannot take away from the accomplishments of the Lady Demons in the 2021 season, especially their sweep of District 9-4A.
