The Shasta Club held its September meeting at the home of Verlyn Dorsett with hosting courtesies shared by Stacey Williams and Cathy Magee. Guest speaker, Ellen Burford of Moving Mountains Ministry, gave an inspiring talk about the needs provided to foster parents and children by the ministry which she founded.
In the business session, the members were reminded of plans for the Fall Decorating entry and discussed time and place for meeting to decorate. Following the refreshment period, the group decided to donate items to Mrs. Burford's ministry and money was collected for the Washington Parish Food Bank.
