The Waverly Club met on Thursday, May 4 for its annual picnic at the lovely home of Mrs. Tammy Magruder. Ladies gathered poolside on the beautifully decorated deck and following a lunch of egg salad croissants, pimento and cheese with crackers, summer vegetables, and pound cake topped with fruit and whipped cream, a short business meeting was conducted by President Marsha Newman. Karen Spears installed officers for the 2023-24 year but first gave a short summary of the past year's activities.
Joining in hostess duties for the May Waverly Club Picnic are Kim Burris, Sarah Burris, Tammy Magruder, and Linda Parkerson.
