I hope you and your loved ones are in good health and spirits. I know we’ve experienced some very hot, muggy, and rainy days lately, my thoughts and prayers are with you all for God’s protection and comfort during this weather. Let's continue to check on each other especially the elderly.

Watermelon Festival
I sincerely apologize for leaving you hanging a couple of weeks ago. I was sharing about Mr. Aulton Cryer and didn't return to complete the writing. Charge It to my head and not my heart.
Congratulations
I want to take a moment to acknowledge our incredible community Farmer, Mr. Aulton Cryer. His dedication to spreading joy and the Cryer name throughout Vernon and beyond fills our hearts with pride. We are so thankful for him and the hard work of his children by his side. Mr. Aulton will serve as Grand Marshal at the Washington Parish Watermelon Festival Parade.
The parade is set for Saturday, July 12th at 9:00 a.m. Let’s come together as a community to show him the love and support he truly deserves. We are so proud of you, Mr. Cryer!
