Veterans Day is Tuesday, November 11. Veterans are invited to attend programs at local schools that are planned to honor those who served. Here are the programs that are planned:
FRANKLINTON HIGH SCHOOL: Veterans and active military personnel will be honored at FHS with a breakfast and patriotic program. The breakfast will be held in the FHS library with the program following in the school gymnasium. Breakfast will served on Tuesday, November 11 at 7:00 am, and the program will follow at 7:50. All area veterans and active military as well as a guest are invited to attend one of FHS's finest traditions.
PINE HIGH SCHOOL: Pine High School will hold its Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 11. Breakfast will begin at 8:00 AM in the cafeteria, and the program will start in the gym immediately following the breakfast.
MOUNT HERMON SCHOOL: MHS will honor veterans on Monday, November 10. A lunch will start at 11 a.m. and the program will follow.
BOWLING GREEN SCHOOL: Bowling Green will honor veterans with their annual luncheon and program on Tuesday, November 11th. Lunch will be served at noon in the sports complex, followed by a program at 1 pm in the main gym. All veterans are welcome to attend. FRANKLINTON JUNIOR HIGH: FJHS will hold its annual Veterans Day program on Tuesday, November 11. Refreshments wil be served at 1 p.m., and the progrm will start at 1:30 p.m.
