At its final meeting of this association year, the Washington Art Association took care of the final business and installed officers for the ensuing year at Cafe Bouchee.
Kaye Williams, outgoing president, conducted the meeting and she was congratulated on the successful activities of her term. She turned the meeting over to the installing officer, Terry Seal, who installed the new officers using various types of flower seed packets to outline each officers duties.
Those accepting the responsibilities of office included: President Hilaria Broadwater, Vice-President Patricia Ballhagen, Recording Secretary Bev Varnado, Corresponding Secretary Ann Warner, Treasurer Theron Graves and Historian Terry Seal. Members then enjoyed a delicious dinner and discussed summer plans and looked forward to the coming year's activities.
