Keep Louisiana Beautiful and Louisiana Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser have awarded Washington Parish Government a $4,625 Healthy Communities Grant.
The funds will be used to purchase litter abatement gear that will assist with cleanup efforts throughout Washington Parish.
Parish President Ryan Seal is grateful for the support of programs that promote civic engagement and environmental responsibility.
“We are proud to partner with organizations like Keep Louisiana Beautiful that help communities take pride in their surroundings,” said President Seal. “This grant will support our ongoing cleanup efforts and help equip volunteers and parish crews with the tools they need to keep Washington Parish clean and beautiful.”
The 2025-2026 campaign, “Let’s Work as a Team to Keep Washington Parish Clean” will again focus on continued education materials to pass out to K-8 school aged children.
