The Waverley Club held its annual picnic on May 7. Due to rainy weather conditions, it was moved inside to the Rock House. Hostesses Roseanne Ganley, Lory Knight, Alex McElveen, and Mary Jo Poole decorated tables and the mantle in spring shades of pink and green. Each lady brought a box lunch. Prizes for beauty and presentation were won by Kelly McElveen and Debbie Burris before a lottery system was used to disperse the many creative baskets.
Following lunch Outgoing secretary Toni Tageant installed new officers for 2026-2028 based on "Things Everyone Should Know About Wendy Fortenberry, President."
Outgoing president Faith Bahm recognized Waverley's newest members Jonna Ard, Penny Jones, Kelly McElveen, and Pam Pierce. Waverley Club will resume meetings in September. (See three photos).
