The Washington Parish Economic Development Foundation (WPEDF), in partnership with STartUP Northshore, will host the second workshop in the Northshore Capital Readiness Initiative (NCRI) series: "Understanding Why Customers Buy." This is a free workshop for local business owners and their team.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:30 PM at the WPEDF offices, located at 526 Georgia Avenue in Bogalusa.
As markets become more competitive, successful companies stay closest to their customers. This hands-on workshop equips entrepreneurs and small business owners with practical methods to uncover buyer motivation, perceived value, and the triggers that drive action. By grounding growth strategy in real customer behavior, participants can refine their positioning, improve performance, and create more resonant offers.
Whether you are validating a new concept or optimizing an existing product, you will walk away with sharper insights and a more confident path forward.
As part of the NCRI, STartUP Northshore is introducing a series of SSBCI Technical Assistance workshops designed to empower small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs across St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parishes. These sessions offer practical guidance on business fundamentals, core entrepreneurial concepts, and pathways to accessing capital.
The State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Technical Assistance Program is a federally funded effort to help entrepreneurs access capital. Louisiana Economic Development (LED) delivers this assistance statewide through Louisiana Opportunity Capital, focusing on very small businesses and socially and economically disadvantaged business owners.
