SLIDELL, La. (AP) — Four people have been killed in a house fire near New Orleans, authorities said.
The blaze happened in the early morning hours Wednesday in the Eden Isles area, St. Tammany Parish fire officials said. The fire was out, and the investigation into the cause was ongoing, fire officials said early Wednesday.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office are all investigating.
