Hello Everyone I’m going to share with you an experience I had last week that I hope will inspire you. On my way home from a VBS I observed groups of young boys/youth and men at the Wesley Ray Community Park.
I parked my vehicle and set out to mingle and find out what was going on in the midst of all this positive energy.
I learned that the Angie Pee Wee Football League was holding registration and that practice was taking place. Several men were present to mentor this group of young boys/youth. It was such an awesome thing to see. You know I've heard it said in various situations that the youth are missing in church and in other positive activities. People have asked the question, “Where are the Children/Youth”?
My response to this is that if these same people would go to where the Youth are they would see. When we show up at their sporting events and practices it has a positive impact on a child. Let us all be there individually or as a group for our Youth. They need us and we need them.
