Hello everyone, the month of November has arrived. It’s the month of the Thanksgiving Holiday and of Diabetes Awareness Month, as well. I have a child who has been a Type I diabetic for 30 years now and I am all too aware of the seriousness of this disease. To all who are living with Diabetes I or II, keep on striving & God Bless you all.

*** Just wanted to share this information about Grant’s Foundation with you all. While in Covington recently for an appointment, I intended to make a donation of items to the Goodwill store. Instead I spotted a donation bin that was at a closer distance and this is where I encountered Grant’s Foundation. I read the description on the donation bin, deposited my items and snapped a photo that contained information about this foundation located on the bin to research later. I hope the following information motivates others to support this organization. It could help another child to live a fuller life filled with more happiness.
The mission of Grant’s Gift Foundation is to provide resources to children with special mental and/or physical needs in an effort to improve the quality of their lives. Our focus is to provide goods and/or services to children and their families that might not otherwise have the financial ability to obtain them on their own. We want to enrich the lives of these special children so that they can enjoy many of the things that we all take for granted, and ultimately help each one of them reach their true potential.
