*Pastor Bryon Muse’s 9th Year Pastoral Anniversary was celebrated on Sunday, November 16th. Rev. Sidney Burns was the guest speaker for this honorable occasion.

*Pastor Charles Galloway’s Appreciation will be held on Sunday, December 7th beginning @ 12 noon.
School News:
***Congratulations are extended to Wesley Ray Elementary and Varnado Jr./Sr. High Schools for attaining a “B” school performance score, from the LDOE.
Wesley Ray Elem. (WRE):
Congratulations to 5th grade Math, Science/Social Studies Teacher Ashley Carrier on being the recipient of the 2025 WSTE Teacher Mini Grant.
*The 4-H Club is hosting a Toy Drive. New and unwrapped toys are requested for this holiday service project no later than December 5th.
Reflections:
***On Seeking: The word seeking can be applied to a multitude of situations. First of all for me I relate this word to Jesus’ statement to us, “...Seek and you shall find…” (Matthew 7:7).
Also, on last Sunday I was seeking a way to enjoy the evening and remembered an article I had read about a “Third Sunday Concert Series” and decided to go. It was a wonderful experience. I had the pleasure of listening to good music and mingling with others, as refreshments were shared afterwards.
Though trouble seems to be present everywhere in society, I believe if we “Seek” to find goodness we’ll find it.
