Hi everyone, our December weather across the parish has a mixture of cold, rain and sunshine, thus far. The cold temperatures have (for the most part) given away to warmer temps, during the course of the day. I’m grateful for it all.

***On being Proactive vs. being Reactive: t
***Recently, a group of 8th grade boys from across Washington Parish visited Rayburn Correctional Center. They had the opportunity to see and hear what prison life is like. Many Thanks to all involved with this “Proactive” measure for our Youth. It is always better to prevent something from happening rather than to try to fix it after it’s broken. May the Youth in our communities make good, productive choices in life and remember the impact of this experience.** “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. (Benjamin Franklin)
