Hello Everyone and Yes indeed it is hot! Even the cold water from my tap is slightly warmish. I'm thankful for the sunshine because without it we would have no food. I know that we haven’t had much rain lately but, I thank God for the water tables beneath the Earth’s surface. We are very fortunate that things are as well as they are. #CountYourBlessings

* Special recognition was observed in memory of La’Darrus Brister for his passion for teaching and caring for his students.
Pastor Johnson’s sermon subject content was on us: “Working Together” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). He informed us that we are better together, we are one body, we need to lift each other up and we must put the kingdom of God first. Amen.

Reflections:
*On Hot Weather: Hot Summer weather is complicated. The reason I say this is because it affects our home air conditioning, vehicles and humans. I don’t know about you, but my air conditioner system has not been “kicking down” until the sun goes down. As I’ve read on social media, the result of this is a very expensive light bill. In addition, the temperature is almost unbearable when you enter your parked car and letting the windows down hardly helps, thus the car’s cooling system is put to the test.
Finally our challenge to stay hydrated is hindered by this continuous hot weather. Dehydration can wreak havoc on one’s health that could lead to hospitalization. Yet, in spite of these complications we are a blessed people, just look around and count your blessings. *GPigott*
