*It’s the first Wednesday in September and I am excited about the cooler temperatures that are customarily associated with this month. Fall vegetable gardening and perhaps even flower gardening should be in full swing. I hope everyone’s expectations are realized as we do our part, in the process.
*Our Angie branch of the Washington Parish Library System seems to be one step closer to becoming a reality. Washington Parish Parish President Ryan Seal signed a contract with KTS Construction, LLC to begin the work on it. All I can say is it’s needed and will be used. I frequent the one in Bogalusa and use the one in Franklinton, when I’m in the area presently but I am looking forward to frequenting our Angie Branch.

*On Hospitality:
*Hospitality has Power. Hospitality is demonstrated when the host of an event welcomes others with a smile, handshake and/or open arms. It has the ability to warm one’s heart. Last week I attended a family reunion with a friend where both the host family and others in attendance were very hospitable. I experienced genuine kindness and felt like a family member throughout every aspect of the occasion. There was an abundance of food, music, laughter and good times which satisfied my appetite and brought me continuous joy. Hospitality is powerful.
